Navarro Registered Therapy Dog Navarro is a registered member of the North Pointe Counseling Center staff and is dual registered with Delta Society and Gabriel's Angels. Navarro's name is unique and given to him by "Guide Dogs for the Blind" where unique and unusual names are the norm. Navarro, a Labrador Retriever, began his career as a guide dog in training for the blind where he developed his friendly manner and style. As part of his career change, Navarro was registered with Delta Society and became a member of the North Pointe Counseling Center staff. Navarro volunteers some of his time playing at the Children's First Academy located at 374 N. 6th Ave in Phoenix (http://www.cfaphoenix.org). Navarro's purpose is to greet and welcome each person to North Pointe Counseling Center. |
